    The following link provides IMPORTANT MOODLE INFORMATION and RESOURCES, including LOGIN INFORMATION:

  • Exclamation Point  Attention ONLINE (OL) Course Students!

    Courses officially begin the first day of the semester and will not be made available to students until the first day of the semester.  Every student enrolled in an ONLINE course (OL) must complete the ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION ACTIVITY within the first 10% point of each course in which they are enrolled in order to remain in the course. Completion of the Enrollment Verification Activity verifies the student’s enrollment and attendance in the online course. ONLINE courses will be made unavailable to any enrolled student who does NOT complete the Enrollment Verification Activity within the first 10% point of the semester. Furthermore, any online course student who fails to complete the Enrollment Verification Activity within the 10% point of the semester will receive a grade of NS (no show) for the semester.

    Recommended minimum browsers: Firefox 4, Internet Explorer 8 (IE 10 required for drag and drop of files from outside the browser into Moodle), Safari 5, Google Chrome 11

    To login to Moodle for the first time, your username is composed of your first initial, middle initial, last name and last three numbers of your student ID Number. Your initial password is your 6-digit birthdate.

    Example login for student named John H. Doe with student ID of 123456 and birthday of January 19, 1986:

    username: jhdoe456
    password: 011986

  • E-Books at NCC!

    Nash Community College has expanded its services with audiobooks, and eBooks available to download from the library’s website. Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting http://nashcc.lib.overdrive.com.

    Users may browse the library’s website, check out with a valid library card, and download to PC, Mac®, and many mobile devices. Users will need to install free software. For audiobooks, music, and video: OverDrive® Media Console™. To read eBooks, users will need Adobe® Digital Editions. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod®, Sony® Reader™, and many others. Some audio titles can also be burned to CD to listen on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!
    The collection includes popular fiction and non-fiction titles and will continue to grow over time. Please send suggestions of books that support your classes as well as books that you would like to read.
